Tango Database
TANGO THAT TELLS THE HISTORY OF TANGO
The idea of creating a tangos database was born while I was studying at the National Tango Academy of Buenos Aires under the professors: Ricardo Ostuni, Horacio Ferrer, Jose Gobello, Hector Negro and Oscar del Priore.

The history of Tango is a very wide subject and it so happens that sometimes not everybody has the same opinion on the same topics.
But on one thing everyone always agreed.
The person who knows more about tango is the one who knows more about tangos.
That person is Oscar del Priore (Buenos Aires, 1944), proprietor of the Accademia del Lunfardo, founder, headmaster and teacher at the Tango University of Buenos Aires and one of the greatest contributors to the widespread popularity of this kind of music.
For over thirty years, he has been constantly operating in all the areas connected to the music of Buenos Aires. He has worked as music producer and editor of specialised publications. He produces radios programmes and collaborates with the visual arts and television. He has published Cien tangos fundamentales together with Irene Amuchástegui (Aguilar, 1998).
So, who better than los tangos to tell the history of Tango?
This database contains information on the history of tangos and their musicians.
It has been created over many years of work and can be used to find authors, composers, orchestras of música típica .
The database is divided in two parts: Information and recordings. Example:
